EskisehirWe went to Eskisehir drawn by his reputation as a university town and its famous Meerschaum stone handicrafts. But the city immediately attracts the visitor’s attention for its well-kept streets, its spectacular parks, the pleasant gondola rides in the beautiful river Porsuk and the best Ottoman quarter we’ve found in Turkey. The majority of its colored houses are restored and in use, creating a truly eye-catching environment. Stroll through its streets and pedestrian plazas, explore the Atlihan Meerschaum figures market and visit the Kursunlu mosque, will make us enjoy our visit to this beautiful city located in the interior of Turkey.
